stuffed Hatch Peppers
FRESH ground, beef, pork, lamb
garlic
sauteed onions & mushrooms- chilled
Mrs.Dash, Montreal Steak seasonings
grated cheddar & Colby-Jack cheese
Panko breadcrumbs
and fresh salsa for a sauce
1 bacon wrapped meatloaf - leftover - no pepper for it
on the OldSmokey

CaptJack,

Thank you very much for alerting me to the season for New Mexico's green chili crop. It always seems to sneak up on me even though I know when it is. The Chuey's Tex-Mex chain has an annual festival revolving around Hatch chilis and, tho I would have eventually heard from friends that it was under way, because of you I have the full 3 weeks to plan numerous trips :D

i made 6
cooked 2 and froze 4
took 2 more out for lunch today
