Grillin' on the OldSmokey
the fire grate hung with the coathanger hooks at 4½"
with the bottomless oval pan
it took 10'mins for the GrillGrates to get to 620° after i put the charcoal in the cooker
the grill marks are what GrillGrates are known for

I have a set of grill grates on my Amazon Wish List, but have been doing so little outdoor cooking lately, that I haven't felt compelled to add them to my cart.
Are they all anodized aluminum?
