Stuff apples

Post by larry long shadows »

I was going camping this weekend but got canceled.. my job was to made desert on a overnight river trip..it nothing fancy . i played with stuffing apples and cooking them on grill/coals... I found out it is better two core them from bottom easier to get seeds out ..just dig a hole filled it with raisins/ pecans/ cinnamon/ allspice and I tried maple syrup/ honey but what I like the best was that mex.cane sugar that comes in a cone you can get a Festa .. wrapped in foil and put on grill.. one more thing I did that was good is I poured lil Chambord raspberry liqueur on them after they were cooked...Some came out overcooked some undercooked but they were all good.....
