Have to reply to this one...I have had bbq beaver, grilled beaver, smoked beaver...and it all tasted like chit...just sayin'

and this may actually be my first post...

However you decide to cook it, make sure you get it nice and tender, nobody likes a tough beaver! :lol:

The only beaver I've eaten required no seasoning or cooking.......





.... Buccees Beaver Nuggets. What'd you think I was gonna say....although I prefer clams.

Steven Rinella is constantly eating beaver in his books and shows. Says the tail is rough, but the hams are good.

Man, talk about false advertisement... Wrong kind of beaver. Anyway, sounds like a good recipe ill have to try it someday.

My wife was the kid of a poor single mother in British Columbia (Canada for you texans...) and the guys that trapped beavers out of the Thompson River basin for flood control used to bring the skinned beavers to them for food all the time. I don't guess it hurt her any, but she does have big front teeth.....
If your mother-in-law starts chewin' down trees and damming creeks, let us know, but I go on the theory of, "If you shoot it, you eat it."
