Entry for SaltwaterFlyTying.com Tarpon Swap

Post by Animal Chris »

Do shrimp *school, *gaggle, *covey, *heard or just *gather? Either way here is my * of Lenny's Tarpon Shrimp for the SaltwaterFlyTying.com Tarpon Swap. These are on a Eagle Claw 3/0 Billy Pate hook. I usually tie this fly in a #2 or a #1 for specks and reds, and I have had some good success. I've tied them in Red/White, Red/Yellow, Chartruese, Chartruese/White and all White. I would imagine if you dropped one behind a shrimp boat with some chum, it would be jack fish city.
