Very nice, Chris! Good use of colours and materials, not to mention the quality of the tie.

34007 Mustad in 2/0 down to #6
Chartreuse flat waxed nylon thread
Tail: Inside: Chartreuse Saddle Hackle (this was some select Lefty Deceiver saddle I bought a while back, really nice hackle) Outside: Chartreuse Grizzly Saddle
Flash: Mirage flash-a-boo
Body: Green Krystal Flash wound over the thread
Under wing: Chartreuse bucktail
Over Wing: Green Bucktail
Throat: Some fl. orange stuff that I can't remember the name of but is is some real fine hair Note: It's Success Flies FluoroFiber. I have also used some fl. orange (pink works well also) dyed arctic fox
Back: Peacock herl
Head: 6/0 black monocord (I use 8/0 in the #2 and smaller sizes) to finish it off smooth
Eyes: chartreuse with black prismatic stick on
I like to finish the head off with a thin coat of flex coat.

There is another little trick I like to do. Take some 12# Mason Hard and tie a little "U" under the back of the head, pointing toward the eye at about 45 degrees. then coat the mono with 5 min. epoxy or that soft head stuff (or if you have some clear silicone caulking, it'll work). this little lip adds a great action to this fly. It's not a big lip, but it will dart from side to side. I will try and post a pic of some I have done this with.

Papasan, I'm planning on tying, I just don't know what. Flies that I use, flies I watched other people use when I was growing up or some flies that have yet to be tied? Decisions, decisions, decisions......Oh what problems to have. I guess I will just have to wait and see the morning of the 7th. Hope to see you there. AC
