Tying flies for brackish/fresh

Post by HeathInClearLake »

I've been a strict saltwater fly tier for years. I have a coworker who has a son who is just starting out, but he's going to be fishing places like armand and horepen and even the local drainage flood control ditches that flow into them. I want to tie up some flies for him, but I'll be danged if I know what's good for those areas? Can anyone give me a starting point? Buggers?
