Cool idea KB. I can see that when in need of a long dubbed strand, that it would be helpful. However, I only very dub small trout flies so I don't see how such a divide would work for me.

Thanks KK. Yep, I have many spinners in different sizes with hooks or wires to spread the thread. You can use smaller drawer knobs for smaller flies if you want. This is way cheaper than buying one new for $10+.
With my hand in a cast I am bored to death! Making new stuff to keep busy.
Another variation...
A lure I started with a toothbrush...gotta add wire and hooks when I get use of both hands again.
