I got 6 reds on this flooded flat in a hour before I shot this video. They were up and feeding on the flat that had jeep tire tracks on it from not too long before. This was during my June trip.
This is my favorite way to chase red fish. You can see this fish's dorsal fin breaking the surface of the water. I would say it was maybe 5-6 inches deep. The red looked to be close to 25"

Nice, he got pretty close. I didn't see a cast, you must have been on a break worn out from the previous 6 fish.
Last time out I had one about that size come from behind me as I was watching one farther up ahead. He was about 12-15 feet away to the side but turned toward me and spooked at about 6 feet. Water was about the same depth or a couple of inches deeper. I always like it when they come to me.
