Fly Fishing Guides
I'm coming back to Texas for a week or so in July, Who would be a good guide to hire for some flats fishing? I'll be around Houston mostly, but can travel to where ever.

Scott is still guiding. He has been very busy with other things, but he is on the water now.
Re: Fly Fishing Guides
Scott has an East Cape skiff, that's all I know. Best to talk to him. If you come to Rockport, Its Dean Thomas. If you come to Rockport and you want a not so experienced dude for free, contact me. Will give back your 2 cents if you don't catch fish.
Re: Fly Fishing Guides

Even if you don't catch any fish with Tombo, the places he shows you to eat at will more than make up for it.

I've heard good things about Steve Soule, "The Shallowist".
Re: Fly Fishing Guides
Timbo,
I began fly fish guiding when I retired almost fifteen years ago. I, like Tombo, don't charge for my guiding services. The weather' too unruly at present, so, I am not guiding at present, but, also like Tombo, I know all of the good places to eat in Houston.
