Its been a while since I posted and this time I didn't want to miss the chance to share with you a few images from the most recent trip to Port A. This time I took the new NRS Osprey Inflatable board. Talking about stability and ease of transportation...
The day started slow with no strikes on plastics or top water. The winds where right at 20mph and the forecast called for 8..you know how that goes.. Mid day the wind layed down and I took the fly rod as I saw several reds chase a z-man but would commit. I figured a better presentation with the fly would do the trick and I was right. Drifter over the flat and saw tons of fish, spooked a lot and two were tricked into eating the fly. It turned out to be a perfect day with great visibility tons of opportunities and a few fish caught.
