Fly box art--sharpie madness!

Post by Cuervo Jones »

Just finished some quick sharpie art on a box I'm making for a friend of mine in Calgary.

Many thanks. I hope to some day earn a living drawing on fly boxes on street corners in the Keys and Rockies.

Nice, you have a lot of talent.

There is a guy in Port Neches who makes a living with his airbrush. He paints seasonal yard signs, business signs, graphics for boats, scooters, baseball helmets, truck tailgates, etc

Dont limit your self to tackle boxes - heck that would look good on a yak

Nice work. Especially with the dimensions it takes to make the fish look like it's swimming from that perspective.

Many many years ago in Estes park in Colorado hiked way up to a remote lake and caught I think what was called greenback cutthroats. Your picture reminds me of those fish. Nice fish to catch on ultra light.....Thanks for sharing, brought back memories long forgotten.

Thanks to all for the compliments. I delivered the box day before yesterday and then my buddy and I fished for the weekend. Lots of cutthroats not unlike the thing I drew.
