Some Good Reading

Post by TKFStubb »

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Things are pretty slow here at work and I've had a chance to catch up on some reading...
My buddy, Jay Yelas, has a couple of great articles in this month's BassMaster Magazine. He gives some good hints on relaxing and trusting your instincts. Practice, learn the basics, practice some more, and eventually you'll hone those instincts to beome the great predator you
were meant to be. Then, back off and trust those instincts. (the latter philosophy is gained from many hours on the water with Jay, not the article itself).

Another magazine that has an article of interest is the August issue of Sport Fishing. On page 86 it starts telling of the adventures of our West Coast Bluewater Xtreme kayaking buddy, Dennis Spike. GREAT pics and evern better written stories of his adventures our of Rancho Leon, on the Sea of Coronado, Mx.

3rd and not least, for all you would-be snook chasers, this month's Tide Magazine has a great article about catching West Fla. coast linesiders on the flats. NOW WE ARE TALKING!!! Thse tactics will translate nicely to our Texas population out of Port Isabel. We are getting up a trip next month to target these beauties. Stay Tuned!
