I went down to my grandmothers lake yesterday afternoon late and fished with my flyrod. I picked up the wrong box and ended up using a white catus shrimp fly. I caught one large red ear brim. Now much top water action going on.
I'm still looking for a fly for Crappie. If anyone has had success on something, let me know.
I puchased a furled leader for the coast and it works great with most everything I have used. I think it came from Blueskyflies.com.
