My grandparents had a lake house on Rayburn til I was in my 20's.. I grew up fishing that lake mainly out of the C. Boykins area (before it was named that). There are some great coves there. I plan on hitting them with a yak and flyrod later this summer.

I fish Rayburn every once in awhile. Also fish Conroe. Rayburn I usually put in at Twin Dykes and paddle that entire cove. It is usually a good are to fish.

Right now I'm pretty much all salt. But when it cools down a little, say around Sept. or Oct. I'll be making a trip up that way.

Say when and where and we'll make it happen. Summers are pretty easy for me when I'm in town. We'll be at Corpus July 20 - 26, and then back again early August. Any evening works great for me.

Bill, you give me a shout when you bring that fly rod down here.
