Hi, I’m 70, retired, and looking to meet similar to fish with. Just learning to freshwater fish, bass, crappie, etc. Last fall I built a motorized kayak, Eddyline C135 with Torqeedo, and got a trailer to travel around with. I’m in Dripping Springs area. Not interested in tournaments at this time, possibly later. If interested please reach out. Thanks

Hi and welcome! I'm not yet 70 (59) but I still get out and kayak when or if I can. Yakity Yak in these forums loves to fish both fresh and salt amd is a good kayak buddy if you want to learn some of his tricks or just company. Reaching out in here first is always best I found.

Dauntless, I'm near your age at 68 and I'll be on Canyon Lake not far from you on December 5, Saturday. I think I plan to kayak fish up by North Park near the north end of the dam. There is a nice boat/kayak free launch not too far away. Drop a note here if you have an interest in fishing that day. I'll check back, send a map if needed. Brad Reid, Galveston
