Definitely a right of passage for kayakers who live in north Texas. It was my first overnight camping trip from a kayak when I lived in FW back in 2014.

Funny thing is this is the 4th time I’ve done this trip. But not too many other rivers for me. I’m down in Houston but love this stretch of river.

I've done Lake Whitney Dam to Waco. Is the section you did more camping friendly?
