Where to stay?Tawakoni

I want to take the kayaks to Tawakoni to fish for stripped bass. Do any of you guys have suggestions on where to stay on the lake. The friend I am taking has never paddled before and is a little nervous about how far he will have to paddle. So launching close to areas known to hold fish would be helpful.
