Bass In The Pads

Post by Eat Sleep Fish »

Braved the heat and ventured into some thick areas in search of less pressured fish and found a decent top water bite! Fished for over 2 hours without a bite, than all of the sudden we found them! It was hot, but worth it!

Thanks for watching!

Nice video! It's fun fishing the pads when they are active on the frog!

Good stuff! Nothing more fun than catching them on topwater in the pads.

Looks like a blast.

Many gators on that end?

I am guilty of catching my rod on a backswing. It usually ends up in a bad backlash.

My buddy saw 2, but I didn't see any that day.

Any problems with car break-ins lately? I've been wanting to try there, but always read about how theft is a big problem.

I've never had an issue thus far, but would recommend you don't leave anything you can't live without in your vehicle when you go fish.

Okay so you're not too far. I been wanting to hit Luce Bayou some day, maybe we can plan a trip out there later this year possibly, or even lake Raven.

I would definitely be down for Luce. I've really been wanting to explore that place. Hit me up sometime towards the end of September.
