Kind of a blooper and fishing fail day with broken rods and spit baits all day. Regardless we had a good day fishing the Trinity river here in Texas for alligator gar. I have been trying to land a 7 foot alligator gar from the kayak for a few years now and i am going to keep at it.
The challenge what keeps me coming back over and over again.
I'm not even sure i want my search for a 7 footer from the kayak to end by me landing one yet.
left the river with one of the biggest smiles i have had in months feeling empowered and connected with the planet.
Big things are happening right now i know i am where i am supposed to be, doing what i am supposed to be doing.
