I "caught" a nice bait casting rod and reel, along with a 5 lb anchor and rope on the Guad in the tailrace section on Saturday. They had not been in the water long. I suspect someone dumped their yak earlier in the day and lost the gear in some faster water.
If that was you, or someone you know, I would like to get the items back to their rightful owner.

Me too. The rod will need to have some eyelets replaced, but still is a good rod. If I don't get any hits I will see if I can leave it with the nearest campground in hopes that we can return the items to the owner.
