Sunday morning seven of us met below the Dam at Whitney for a day of fly fishing and paddling. There were six people from the FWFF club and Boar (Marty). About 11:00AM the group split up with four of them continuing down river to Dick's place (they had arranged for a shuttle) and three of us paddling back to the launch area.
Everyone caught fish and had a great time. Even Boar brought his fly rod (he said, "when in Rome do as the Romans do") and did very well with it. I'll post a complete fishing report on the Fishing Report Page later on today.
If any of y'all get a chance to paddle/fish that section of the river with Boar do it. He's a great person to spend the day on the river with.
