Hey where have you been...?

Been a little busy. Things are sorta back to normal. I was planning on fishing today this late afternoon, but my Mrs. put the nix on that. Looking to next week. Have you guys been out? Is Purtis Creek a go or no? We have a scout camp out next month some time. Not sure when.

My guess is Purtis Creek will be late Oct. I will be in Port A for 10 days in
Sept. then have the State Fair for 24 days. It should be cool enought to camp out by then. But there is still a cold beer at the Angry Dog till then.

Any time you're up for a drink, let me know. I'll invite boxy so he can meet you and maybe we can get dpplano there to met him also. I'll be headed Galveston way for Labor Day. At Shamrock my favorite lure has been a bone Top Dog Jr. I'll paddle to and wade around the islands. If you are going to camp, do it on the south end of the cut. Less motor traffic on that side. We camped there last yaer and there were tons of people coming and going.
Sorry if the info is a little repetitive. Say hey to Cody and Larry?

We will be staying at the Lost Coloney condos just across from the cut.
I have been getting a new carrier ready to take the yak on. Since we both work downtown lets grab a beer one day next week. Bring Boxy

I would like to meet you guys there for a cold beer if I can. I work in Plano so it might be kind of hard to meet you in down town after work, but I'll definitely try.

Count me in for the Purtis Creek fishing trip.

I went to Ray Roberts 2 wks ago, my friend caught a 4.5lb bass up in one of the creeks on the north end of the lake. See attached picture. The quality of the picture is poor, we got rained on right after I took this, I think the camera and film got wet maybe.

Look forward to meeting you guys and hopefully doing some fishing some time soon.

Nice fish.
It looks like Casey and a few of the other guys are headed to the coast for a while so we are on our own at Purtis Creek. I have never fished there. I can't make it for a drink this next week unless it is later in the evening after dinner. Or during lunch :wink:
