kayakbassfishing.com help

Post by 152 Sumo »

What is the story with kayakbassfishing.com? I have sent multiple emails to administrator with no response. I registered but never got the email to confirm. It seems like a good site, though.

I thought maybe someone on TKF is the administrator or knows someone that can help.

I have had the EXACT same issues, I finally gave up. I registered, and then waited to get activated. Never happened, so I sent an e-mail to the administrator, nothing ever happened. So I gave up several months ago. Last week I tried again after seeing the forum on here, but still can't get in.

Kind of odd, especially since it looks like someone put a lot of effort into the site.

Then I guess it must be my reading glasses.
I can't even get registered.
That "Code scramble" I can't get past that.
Thought the Red + Bass Tourney sounded like fun.
But it was cancelled because only 3 people signed up for it.
Might be they can't get signed up.

I'll let Chad know. He runs KBF

They posted this up also - try it and let them know -

"If you're having problems logging in clear your cookies and try again.

The issue we were having where you login and then it boots you out have been corrected. They now should automatically work fine without refreshing your cookies, if you still have problems, then refreshing cookies is the "plan b" fix.

Sorry for the inconvenience. This bug seemed to be caused by the "Anti-Bot Question Mod" and has since been removed from the server. I apologize for any inconveniences.

double dip, thanks for bringing this to my attention. I have to start by apologizing for the hassle. We got a lot of interference from the spammers and hackers in the beginning. We experimented with several security measures and options to fix it. We now have it ironed out and depending on when you attempted to login or register, you may have to erase your cookies to register. It is a pain, but we were doing everything we could to protect our users. The original webmaster had some serious health issues arise with his wife and we had to change over mid-stream just as we were getting going. We have all the kinks worked out now and your experience should be much better. For the gents who posted this here, after you register at KBF send me a PM with your address and I will send you some stickers and a T-shirt on me!!!! We have an awesome user group and thousands of dollars in prizes in Challenges available in our KBF Challenge Series. Take a moment to stop back by!
Thanks,
Chad

Finally got registered this AM.
Thanks for your help.

Looks like most of the Challenges are Fresh water.
Bull Red run is soon very soon. Can't wait.

This winter I will fish freshwater more than Salt and they have some BIG bass in TX.
