Perfect Eating size....

Post by Ranger375 »

Picked up a nice little sow with the brother in law this past weekend. Couldn't ask for a better eating size. Can't wait to get those pork ribs on the pit...Mmmmm-mmm!!!

Anybody else getting a little late season pig hunting in?

Pigs in Seabrook

Post by Hooch »

I had obtained permission from one land owner to bow hunt pigs in Seabrook. Never got a chance to go though.
I know those kind of spots are sometimes pretty hard to find and secretive. But, If you feel so inclined to let me in on one send me a PM. I bow hunt almost exclusively. I live in Southern La Porte and have a bow only lease west of Austin.
Those sows sure can be good eating. Fun bow hunting them too.

That should be some fine eating. I'm trying to work in a trip before the end of March. There's a group of about 15 that hang around one of my blinds, but I went easy on them during deer season. Randall's has whole pork loins for $.99/lb. this week, so if you want some cheap pork and can't hunt 'em...
