Duck Hunting

Post by Chip Pitcairn »

Here's the situation. It's cold and blowing 30. You're duck hunting and your brothers hat blow into the bay. You send your faithful Lab Boudreaux
and tell him to fetch the cap. The look on my brother and the guides faces was perfect. Chip Pitcairn

Shells to go hunting: $30
Hunting Clothes: $250
Guided duck hunt: $75
Having your Lab retrieve your
brothers cap out of the pond: PRICELESS!!!

Boudreaux looks just like Luke my 10 mo old!

Both my labs love the pool. Boudreaux is my hunting dog. His brother, Loomis, and I are in training to become a therapy team. We'll be visiting
hospitals, nursing homes etc. Lommis is named after my wifes favorite fly rod. His registered AKC name is G. Loomis GLX 1089 4piece.

I got to see one of those looks too. We were rabbit hunting in Iowa and a freind of mine shot a rabbit. Bud (short for Budweiser) retreived it and brought it to me. Jim says Hey that's my rabbit! So I handed it back to Bud and said take this to Jim. He worked his way about 30 yards through very thick multiflora roses up to Jim and gave it to him. You should have seen the look on Jim's face!
Bud is nolonger with us except in very fond memories.
Thanks for triggering that memory for me.
