Instead of the roaring fire in the fire place, it was the roar of the air conditioner in the house. Instead of flannel shirts and wool pants, it was shorts and a t-shirt. Instead of lug bottom insulated boots, it was sneakers. Go figure, did let a 3 and 4 point go by, at least I saw deer inspite of the heat.
After watching the bucks, the rut is about a week away or so in our part of East Texas.
