I found this beauty in the Home Depot deals today. For $10 you get a 300 lumen light with a very smooth flood light circle. Pull the bezel forward and it tightens the circle for concentrated light and better distance. This is going to be perfect for cleaning animals after dark! I didn't want to believe this little thing could make this much usable light, but now I'm a believer! It's not waterproof, but for the money this is the best hands-free light going.
iPads are not night photo friendly, but this is wide beam

Re: My new best friend
I hope you can still find them. I returned and bought seven more for family gifts, but after checking the store this week it looks like they were a special deal for the holidays. I wore the headlight in pouring rain recently and after a couple hours of exposure, the light was still dry inside and working fine. Not sure how it will work for fishing the salt, but I will find out as soon as hunting is done.

I hunt on my in-law's property and don't have permission to bring guests hunting. I have to light my own way...
