Cast and Blast - Looking for Recommendations

Post by Evanowski »

Not sure if this is the correct forum to ask....

Myself, my dad, and a couple of our friends are looking for a place to try a cast & blast guide. Does anyone have any suggestions? We are pretty much open to anywhere along the coast.

I've done plenty of interwebs searching, but I prefer word-of-mouth referrals because they give the best opinions, and usually tell the truth.

I don't want to just book a guide and hope for the best.

Any info would be great!

Thanks!

I'm not sure as far as guides go. I do know that a couple of buddies and I will be on Matagorda Beach camping out for opening weekend doing a cast and blast. If you happen to head that way and see us, stop in and say hi. We might even point you in a good direction

Check out Bay Flats Lodge in Seadrift. I took my son and fished with them in the past and they have a cast and blast special. Great place to stay, great food, great guides.
