Its official.
Luke, my 6 month old yellow lab became a hunt'n dawg today.
Retrieved his first doves!
Next week he graduates to teal...

Having your own dog to hunt with increases your enjoyment at least 10 fold. Good luck with the teal.

Congrats to Luke and to you!!!

Hunting will take on a whole new meaning now. There is nothing I've found that can match the feeling I get when I see my lab (Ginger) working a dove field, duck pond, or goose spread, after all of the time spent training.

I'm glad to see that there are others that feel the same way.
