am going this weekend with some friends from work white winged hunting. i think it is in hondo. never been bird hunting . let ya`ll know how it goes when we get back

I love it. Don't mind Quail or Deer, but I have more "social fun" on a dove hunt.

Ditto that. The dove hunt lends itself to a more casual, social atmosphere. I think that's why I like it the best, too.
That and bacon wrapped, jalapeno stuffed dove breasteses on the grill.

Good luck. I'll be in Castroville, just east of you. From everyone I talked to the opening day in the area was great. Hopefully it will continue through this weekend.
