Did you end up going to Castroville Monday?

I ended up cancelling since it was supposed to rain all day and the county was under a flash flood watch most of the day. My friends that did go said it was nice and cool, no rain, and plenty of birds.

I was sort of glad due to it looked like rain all day. First season in quite a while that I didn't make the opener.

If you decide you might go, make sure to give him a call ahead of time.....alot of those fields get shot up pretty quickly and when I've called him in the past he was honest with me about whether the birds were still around.
