I was wondering where I could get information on water temps for the galveston area. Also, is it to early to start fising in the gulf, I have heard that there wont be much going BYB untill the water temps are around 75. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

THanks, that weather underground is a great website that has all of the info that i need. looks like the temps are up above the 70's. Any ideas about what temp I should be looking for before leave the bays and head back out to the beach?

I really like this site and have it set up as a favorite. The numbers are near real time. (within one hour)............For example as I write this the water is 76.7 degrees (April 1, 2008...3:00 pm) at San Louis Pass...

If the wind will lay I would be in the water at dark AM Saturday....

Picaroon, that's a great link. The fish should be getting frisky so it looks like I will be returning home just at the right time.
