Post by popasan »

you guys think you have problems......my daughter is a UT alumni, my son Tx A&M......you can imagine how it goes around thanksgiving......since my son is a grad student at Rice now, i was really "in the middle" during the baseball playoffs.......but......we were all rooten' for Rice in the championship game.......and ......since Rice beat the tar (i'm being nice) out of Stanford......we are ALL hootin and hollorin', now that Rice is the Champ..... :D

actually..... its not so bad being in the middle..... my kids make this dad proud!!

Of course, over here in Beaumont, all I hear is "who beat the champs in BOTH meetings during the regular season?...Lamar, that's who."
Of course, If Rice had fielded the pitching lineup against Lamar that they did against Stanford...I'd hate to see what the score would have been! Its good to be a proud papa, isn't it, Larry?
