Which date would work better for classes

Post by The Wizard »

All,

We can do the first saltwater flycasting class on the weekend of February 20-22 or Feb. 27-29 or both. Do any of you have a preference for the weekends? We might have to watch weather, but Feb. last year worked well. Not any wind, pretty warm and plenty of time to practice before springtime.

Thoughts?

Me too.

Hopefully I can bring some freshwater skills with me that I can share. This class is actually dependant on my other classes, in college.

Where do we propose holding these classes? What rules are involved? And about a thousand other questions from this transplant.

My vote goes to the 20-22nd.

I will be at the Houston Rodeo Bar-B-Que cook-off the 26-28th.

I prefer the 20-22 slot but either will work for me.

Bill,

What skill level is being addressed in these classes?

I know I'll be working the first week end, so if I attended, it would have to be the second weekend.

BTW: I assume there will be another Flat Out Fishing seminar this year. Do you have any details yet? Like dates and topics. Last year's event was excellent.

I saw your sticky after my first post. It says the classes will be for beginners. I'm sorta between there and intermediate due to inadequate practice.

I'm certainly intereseted in the fishing classes. Do you have dates for the fishing classes?

Bill,

February is out for me due to a big project at work. It sounds like you have quite a bit of interest for February. Maybe I can catch one of your Matagorda sessions.

Bruce,

We will schedule several classes this spring, so let's keep in touch.

We WILL do Flat Out Fishing again this year, looks like in conjunction with ESPN, but that has not been totally firmed up, yet.

I think the date will be the second weekend in May.

ESPN

Are you kidding me??! ESPN!

If you get ESPN to show, then this year's session would have to be a Super Bowl level presentation!

OK. So what are you doing next year? :P

I'm sure we will hear more about FOF in the next month or so.
