TPWD Outdoor Annual

Post by TexasJim »

Got my new licenses yesterday. After a missed year, TPWD has again published a paper issue of the Outdoor Annual. I like a paper book. I never even looked at the "online version" from 2020-2021 year.

Very few changes in Saltwater Regs from 2021: Three crab traps allowed in Aransas County. Clarification of the Red Snapper bag limit state/federal waters: No more than four total per day. Flounder season is totally off Nov.1st-Dec.14th. No mention of the special Laguna Madre Speckled Trout limits.

A few Freshwater reg changes.

FYI. TexasJim

Thanks for the heads up on the flounder rule in November. And from what I just read,

In the bays and beach fronts of the Laguna Madre (south of the JFK Causeway near Corpus Christi to the Brownsville Ship Channel on the bay side and to the Rio Grande River on the gulf side of South Padre Island) the following limits apply:
Daily Bag: 3
Min Length: 17 inches
Max Length: 23 inches
Clarification: No spotted seatrout over the 23 inches may be retained.

I to enjoy having the paper issue of the Outdoor annual. I actually like to ready some of the different articles in there
About to purchase my all water year to date one this Friday! :)
