Announcement: TKF will continue on!

I felt like now was the appropriate time to announce that TKF will continue on. For the past couple days Tom and I have been in discussion for me to take over TKF. Over the next month we'll slowly work on transferring things (behind the scene stuff), but for now I'm honored Tom has entrusted TKF to me.

My sister (a kayaker now for the past three years) who is much more knowledgeable on the technical aspects offered to help run the forum as well. Together TKF will be a family endeavor for my sister and I.

Hopefully, we'll enjoy this forum for another 20 years.

That is awesome Josh! I have complete confidence that it will be in good hands. I doubt Tom could pass the torch to a more passionate and capable person. A good fit indeed!

Josh, U seem perfect to continue the forum. When I first came on, u completely "picked apart" my copyright infringing posts. U found exactly where the came from like that *snaps fingers* I think you will take good care of it!

Wow! I'm glad the cat in the bag was Josh & sister taking the handoff. I'm willing to help, but not very computer savvy. I offer my help a lot to people, with the caveat: "My advice is worth what you paid for it". But, I live in the Coastal Bend, and am retireded, and will help if I can.

I enjoyed the Hill Country flyfishing report from Ron and you. Made me get off my behind and make a flyrod holder for my new to me Viking. I call it my Shoddy flyrod holder. I miss fishing the Guad. Say hi to my lures in the trees, if you go there!

Great to hear.
I spent the last week downloading old photos and printing out old camping reports.
Thanks for keeping 'er running Neumie.
I still fish and camp regularly with people I've meet through TKF. Though I haven't posted in forever, I still check it out every few days, for years.
I'll try and post a trip time to time. Maybe one day we'll even get that camping forum going again.
