How is the kayak fishing around the Ingleside Point & the island across from Kiewit Offshore Services in La Quinta Channel? Is it worth the paddle from Ingleside on the Bay?

Re: La Quinta Channel/Ingleside Cove
I made the paddle once across to the islands; it was OK. Worth the paddle? I guess it depends on well you do. The little flat adjacent the marina is a good one, and I hear good things about McGloins Bluff as well around the point. I have considered paddling across again and fishing Long Reef and wade fishing it because it looks like a hard sand bottom. Welder point has always interested me as well, just never paddled that far north.
The little flat next the marina is one I fish often for quick trips in the morning. If you check my post history you'll see a couple reports from there.

In summer low tides, McGloin bluff would get my attention.
The cove flat recedes to almost dry in summer low tides.

Thank you both for your insight! I’m planning to be in the AP area in a few weeks & looking for new water to fish in..
