Post by JimD »

I ran across this site and it contains some good information and some rigging ideas now that people have more free time.

If you have all that kayak rigging work done then look at the magazine above. EJ and his boss Pam do a great job. I think it is 12 dollars a year for an electronic copy BUT the big deal is they have about 10 years or more in the Archives that you have access to.
Included is the most accurate Solunar tables around. Many on the market are flawed on the moon down times which should start before the moon sets and not afterward.

You can go back and read at least 10 years of history on your guide or bay and maybe more. Interesting to see what is the wonder bait and how that has changed among other things.
You can spend a lot time reading. I always like the "How to articles by several of the guides.

Enjoy, JimD

Thanks Jim. I'd seen their site before and it's very helpful.

This should be required reading for all paddle fishermen:

Oh the guy that wrote this article... His name sounds so familiar ;) same last name as the board owner anyway, I think the 1st name is different.

If you see something that you like on other kayaks use YouTube to search "Kayak rigging" and just add any words to it for a specific idea. So many videos you will be impressed.
