BE SURE TO GO VOTE TODAY ESPECIALLY FOR TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE TO GET THE MONEY THEY DESERVE FROM OUR TAXES TO HELP BE ABLE TO GET OUR PARK SYSTEM FIXED UP.


Our government at work takes the tax money from sporting goods that is supposed to be dedicated to TPWL and Parks SYSTEM in a fund that should ALL go to TPWL but instead a Clause lets our government spend the money as they see fit in their wisdom and it is not our Parks and Wildlife programs.

This is actually good news.. it shouldn't get used elsewhere.

"Texans voted to approve Proposition 5 in the Nov. 5, 2019, election. Now 100 percent of the sporting goods sales tax will go to Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the Texas Historical Commission. This funding will help secure the future of local parks, state parks and historic sites for generations to come.
