Spoons for Fishing

Post by shoffer »

I was shopping for some new tackle and saw this. Think they will get a tug?

At just over an inch, I’d be afraid they would swallow it.

Capt. Shoffer outfished us all last night (on legal fish!), but has obviously descended into marine madness!
Even for night fishing, a one-inch spoon sounds crazy to me. But Shoffer is the Night Master.
And his fishing hero Capt. Carl was always killing them with his beloved spoons. Do the math, men!
Those tiny spoons will probably bring few tugs, but move over for some big wet hugs...!

All I can tell Shoffer is that his brilliant "Dick Spoon" thread got only 3 "in-house" replies from his loyal Plastic Navy. Nobody, not even Ron Mc, wanted to touch this hard topic with a ten-inch pole! But thanks to Shoffer for posing the really hard fishing questions. It's almost too hot to fish anyway.

Thanks for jumping into the deep Dick pool, Finatic! It takes a real man to handle his spoon properly.
We'll be serving up some fresh action soon. Come fish with us sometime if you really want to stretch out your man muscle.

There are different sizes and colors to please the discriminating angler. Someone needs to pull theirs out and see if they can get it jerked by a largemouth.

After 3 long days and nights together, maybe it's time to put those away?

Those "D" spoons do actually work. YouTuber Beach Bomber has used them here in Galveston to catch trout and smacks off the pier.

I had completely forgotten about that. Someone showed them to me on the Galveston Fishing Pier last year during one of the smack runs and we (we being my 11 year old son and I) asked what he caught them on and he showed us one of the penis spoons. My son started laughing and was like "No way" and the dude swore he caught them on it. It was a small, hammered brass penis spoon.

Thanks, Shoffer! That video mesmerized & sold me, plus I'm doing some early Christmas shopping in August! I love those rollicking Dick Spoons! Hell, I knew a "Richard Spoon" back at Black Jr. High School in Houston!
I ordered 20 in gold, 20 in silver , but to "match my HATCH," I requested gray/white hackle-hair! Kickingback will love it! Watson, too. Let's go dick with some specks--at night!

My poor mascot "Gulp on Chubby Skrimps" is feeling a bit dysfunctional from all this stiff talk

Cheer up buddy! You can take solace in the fact that none of those hardy boys are in the New Penineys color
