I heard after the hurricane the gulf was flowing through the island at Sunday beach. Thinking of doing a camping trip out there and wanted to see if it was even possible.

We were supposed to set out Tuesday for Army Hole but the winds are showing in the 20s...Any ideas on how we should do our trip in light of that?

As of February it was still a "pass". I'm thinking with the high tides it still is today. I would think camping would still be an option.

If you're uncertain then I would be hesitant on paddling over. There are quite a few back lakes and cuts to use to shelter from the wind, but it's quite a long paddle.
