Whether you have or have not heard of Panther Point in Esperito Santo Bay, you owe to your yourself to check it out. The Houston Kayak Fishing Club (PACK) has a few openings on the second shuttle to the legendary point on the backside of Matagorda Island. Details in the link provided. PM me if you are interested.

I made all of the PACK trips to Panther Point up until last year's. Each trip there was productive as far as fishing, fellowship, and as a melding with nature. I miss that trip as it was special due to our tents being surrounded on two sides by water. Having my kayak moored right next to my tent was an unusual and most enjoyed addendum.
