You might try this rig. The hook is a freshwater rig so it will rust. Rigged with a soft plastic and tied directly without a swivel it will almost float. The sink rate is very slow. This might work in the skinney water we are fishing.
One thing that I do is bend the hook so that the weed guard hooks onto the barb as seen on the Avacado/Red rig. If left in it's original state like the Limetruse rig, the weed guard falls off when you hit a big weed patch. Let me know how it works. Been wanting ti try it but am stuck on that grub.

I will be in the marsh wednesday evening and thursday. Dont know about this weekend, thinking about tring the surf, sure would like to catch a 6 foot shark. I got some of thoose hooks to try, and even got a bass frog, I think the bass frog will be the winner... i will let you know
