Help for tomorrow

Post by Michael Meyer »

The missus and I are going out tomorrow morning. We like to fish early morning to mid- to late morning.

I am thinking of one of three places:

1. Lighthouse Lakes - launching at the Harbor Island Kayak Launch
2. Swan Lake - launching at the Copano Bay Global Blue Launch
3. Rattlesnake Point - launching at the Rattlesnake Point Launch

I would appreciate your vote (or any other recommendation you might make)

Normally we launch at one of two spots. They are indicated on the maps by yellow arrows. We fish the area in yellow.

Tomorrow I was thinking of launching further back (the red arrow) and fishing some of the back lakes and cuts (indicated in red) - maybe even going out into Lydia Channel and then using the wind to help us come back.

What do you think?

I’m with Tobin.. Fish Light House Lakes. I was there last month in the highlighted lake & picked up a limit of reds using Tobin’s new lure..
Tight lines!

LHL it is - and I am going to be using Trout Support Lures - probably starting with Bone Diamond. I do have one final question - when you say the highlighted area you mean the yellow oval? If so, I am going to launch from LHL park - it is a very quick paddle across the channel.
