PINS conditions?

Was thinking about taking next weekend to do a little surf fishing down PINS. Wondering if anyone has been down around big shell area recently and what the conditions have been. Mostly interested if I'm going to be pulling in mats of sargassum all day or not. Havn't heard much anything about it yet.

I was on PINS for memorial day. Driving was great down past the 20, and then it got a good bit softer. I only went as far as the 35 mile mark. No real problem with weed in the water. We did see a lot of stingrays in the surf, so be mindful of that.

Awesome thanks! That's about where I typically end up anyways.
On a side note, I found a satellite sargassum report from a&m for future planning. Apparently it's only a web app or at least I didn't figure out how to download it.
Might find it usefull.
