West end galveston surf fishing for trout this Saturday

Hello tkf, it's been at least a year since I've posted on here. Been pretty busy with school and sports but I finally have my drivers license and me and one of my friends are planning on hitting the west end surf at sunrise sat morning. How's it been down there? And any tips on what to throw? It's great to be back!

There has been a really good topwater bite on incoming tide on Skitter walks and super spooks. (Pink, Chartreuse, silver blue, Bone have all been good). As soon as the topwater bite goes fickle I'd throw a TSL on them for sure though.
