Hey Guys,
Thinking about heading out to a new spot (new to me) . I want to launch close to highland Bayou and fish the marshes back there. I have Ray Crawfords launch points but i know a lot can change from year to year so before I head out there does anyone have any experience launching around that area?
PS Short Report from April 29th Sportsmans road launch fished Confederate reef and surrounding area
Weather was nice and had a soft south east wind. We found some bait early but some kayakers were alreading fishing the area so we moved on looking for some more activity. We did not find it. Lots of boats and kayaks around all day but didn't see many fish being caught.
The tide was really low and seemed to stay low all day (we fished from 630am to 230pm)
We never found active bait and had little to no current.
We caught 1 flounder and didn't get another bite.
I feel like it might of turned on if the tide started moving but fun day anyway.
