Where are some good specific summer fishing spots from the kayak? I am new at this and need to know tips, techniques, and spots. Thx

Welcome to the forum! I’d highly recommend spending some time reading in the forum. It’s loaded with great info regardless of experience level.
Are you new to kayaking or fishing? Both, maybe? What species will you be targeting? Inshore or BTB (beyond the breakers)?
Prof. Salt posts great videos on YouTube that’ll give you an idea of what it’s like to fish BTB there as well as some important things to know.

Sry for the late reply. I didnt see your reply. I am not new to fishing, but new to fishing the area. I am coming with a scout troop. We might rent kayaks for a day and hit shamrock cove/flats. We are camping on the beach, and need tips for that as well. We dont have big shark gear or anything like that, but some decent stuff.
