Wilson's Cut Access?

Post by TexasJim »

Drove down 361 south of PA today, and it looked like there was a locked gate across the road to the Wilson's Cut kayak launch. Is it still underwater in places, or has the oil company shut it off?

It’s definitely locked. Time to find a new spot

I heard it was locked up a month or so ago. IT was a great place while there was access. Now you'll have to launch with the power boats.

Bummer!
If the fishing's that good, it may be worth the extra paddle distance. Assuming your truck doesn't get burgled. Any recent incidents? TexaJim

Just don't leave anything in your vehicle and leave the glove box and console open.. once they see there isn't anything in it, then it takes away the incentive.
